Beye Discovery (After School Enrichment Program) Has Spaces Available

Each year, Beye Discovery students engage with art and science to explore and learn about the world around them. We invite your child to join us for a thrilling start to the new school year, with activities and projects inspired by the natural world, artists past and present, and our own experiences, interests and dreams.

This fall we will experiment with a variety of art media (including sculpture, printmaking, painting, illustration, fiber and digital media); conduct citizen science projects; participate in storytelling influenced by artifacts from the Field Museum's Harris Learning Collection; host visiting artists & professionals (to study percussion and movement), and take local field trips to the Trailside Museum, OP 97's Multicultural Resource Center, and the Oak Park Main Library for our yearly art exhibit!

A sampling of fun weekly themes includes: Baby Animals; Celebrating Kandinsky; The Rhythmic Heart; Native Americans; The Mystery of Magritte; Constellations; The Art and Science of Snakes; Animal Behavior & so much more!!!
